SIG 2Sum

Just completed a thorough review of the SIG P250 2Sum; two pistols in one box.   Though I was slow to embrace it, I am convinced that SIG will sell as many as they can manufacture.  The trigger press of the P250 action was one of the best D.A.O. I’ve yet to experience.   Swapping the internal action from one frame to another takes all of two minutes and no tools are required.

The slides are beefy and that’s good for recoil reductions but less so for concealed carry.   Effective texturing is found front, back and sides of the polymer frames.  The guns hold well.

The full sized version was very enjoyable to shoot, 100 percent reliable and possessed the accuracy you’d expect from a SIG pistol.  Naturally the sub-compact frame offered more felt recoil but was easy enough to control and plenty accurate.   The large version gives you 17 plus 1 rounds of 9×19mm ammunition and the sub-compact holds 12 plus 1.

Like the GLOCK, the large version magazines fit and feed the compact and sub-compact guns of like caliber.   I’d like to see SIG include an extra 17 round version with the kit.  You can, of course, purchase additional magazines directly from the manufacturer.
